Solar for you, Solar for all myths Busted – if you install a Solar heating system, you need a backup of fossil fuels

There is much skepticism around concerning renewable and solar for you and solar for all energy, and this skepticism gives rise to a series of myths and misinformation. One of the many myths says that if you install a solar heating system, you'll need a backup of fossil fuels. This is caused by our long-standing dependence on fossil fuels, or if there is any truth in this? Time to separate fact from myth.
Backup up, or not backwards?
Even though it is a fact that most people who install a solar electric system have some sort of backup system to cover your heating needs in the case of your PV system cannot provide enough power to fill these needs, there is nothing that says you absolutely must have one. The decision to invest in a backup heating supplied by fossil fuel or not depends on several factors, including financing, comfort and cost.
Often erroneously assumed that, if you live on the grid and has a solar electric system installed, your only option is to use network monitoring, i.e. feeding the electricity produced by your system back to the grid to be drawn as needed. There are other options available. Let's take a look at them.
What other options I have?
An excellent question, that there is more than one response. The first step should be to reduce the amount of electricity wasted by calling wait or phantom loads, such as televisions, computers, DVD players, etc., which drain electricity sometimes considerable quantities of electricity even when switched off. These types of loads must be connected to a power strip or as part of a circuit switched, that control various devices or devices with the touch of a button.
The next thing you can do, especially if you live in an area with plenty of sunshine all year round, is to use the passive solar for you and solar for all  heat naturally provided by Sun. Since your home is well insulated and you have one or 2 face South windows, passive solar can provide most of the energy required to heat a House. A passive solar system combined with an active solar heating system is generally regarded as an economical alternative to having to use up fossil fuels. Heat of an active solar heating system is generally stored in a tank of water or a rock position to provide all the necessary heat that cannot be provided by Sun.
The other option is to go totally solar for you and solar for all, although the cost of doing so is usually very prohibitive for most people. Combined with the possibility somewhat rare-the temperature at home may fall below the level of comfort of most people is the reason that most houses that have an active solar heating system are also equipped with a conventional type of backup.
Without fossil fuels required
As we noted only, most homes with a solar for you and solar for all heating system use a conventional backup, but, as should be obvious from the foregoing, it is not a necessity. The combination of passive solar heating and solar can provide heat asset most families might need with backup being one more caution than a necessity.
